Play Roll and Read. You need a dice and a list of six words written out (see below for the words). Number the words 1,2,3,4,5,6. How to play: Roll the dice. Read the word that is next to the number that you rolled. For example, if you roll a 3, read the word that is numbered number 3. Continue rolling and reading until you have read all the words. Play again if you wish!
Words to be written out and numbered 1 to 6: 1.fish 2.chin 3.church 4.queen 5.shark 6.fork
If you don’t have a dice then the adult could pick a number or you could lay out some number cards and pick them up at random or you could write the numbers on pieces of paper and scrunch them up and pick one at random to generate a number.
